I'm excited to start a new gig with South Dakota Public Broadcasting (or SDPB if you're familiar.)
My love of public broadcasting started when I was a kid. To this day, the opening sound of Nova takes me straight back to when I would tell time by the number of Sesame Streets. "How long will you be gone?"
And my mom would reply something like, "Three Sesame Streets."
As an adult, I've listened to NPR and watched PBS from broadcasters across the country while traveling. They're always there, speaking the truth and spreading something educational, informative, or entertaining. That's why a couple years back, I was beyond excited to work on PLANET CALIFORNIA with Wild Logic and Terra Mater.
Today, I'm excited to work with the local PBS and NPR network for the state of South Dakota. They're one of the few states that hold both licenses under one roof and broadcast to the entire state. I'll be putting my writing, videography, editing, and design skills to work in this exciting new job. Stay tuned...
