I never thought I would be so interested in sheep, but here I am - fascinated.
If you've ever been clued in on a world you know nothing about, and suddenly that world's impact is everywhere? That's how I felt when I filmed a story on sheep. Once I dove in, I realized that they have co-evolved with our species for so long most of us don't even realize how inter-woven our lives are with theirs.
Don't think I'm pulling the wool over your eyes, seriously, I'm not trying to fleece anyone. They truly might be one of the most interesting groups of animals on the planet.
