I'm proud to show off a new project, TATANKA: A Way of Life
This is a new take on the largest land mammal in North America from the people who relied on them for all aspects of life. This new doc highlights the relationship between bison and the Oceti Sakowin. We travel through time and hear the story of White Buffalo Calf Woman, through the decimation of the species and the people, and see how groups today are fostering the growth of a new generation.
While I did not write the show, you can see my contributions shine in the edit and in the wildlife videography. What a gig to spend days in the Black Hills filming bison all by myself.
